Over a 25 year career I’ve developed experience firstly in finance, having previously completed $11bn of M&A deals, second in investing when I worked at my family’s investment office which managed a $1.5bn real estate portfolio for a sovereign wealth fund, and third in business operations, where I helped grow and sell a $70m revenue family business.

Samer Hakoura, Founder & Chief Investment Officer
Samer studied Chemistry at Oxford University in the UK. He started work at Deutsche Bank in London, where he completed $11bn of Mergers & Acquisitions. He then did his MBA at Wharton, and following that joined his family's investment office, which managed a real estate portfolio and built a $70m revenue business.
When the family sold its businesses and real estate, Samer searched for a way to invest the proceeds that would: Respect the lifetime of hard work that went into building it; Preserve it; Grow it for the long term .
Samer noticed a gap in the market for a boutique service catering to individuals with a net worth of $2 million to $15 million, who are going through the process of selling their business and then living off the proceeds, provided by someone who has both business and personal experience that aligns with their clients’ backgrounds. He therefore launched Alphyn Capital Management, drawing on his 25 years in finance and building businesses to come up with a process inspired by Warren Buffet's investment philosophy.
